NFL Week 15

Since the Monday night game pretty much has no consequence towards the playoffs picture, I will go ahead and drop this blog post tonight before the last game of the week.

The NFC has shaped up with the Seattle Seahawks clinching a playoff spot.
The Green Bay Packers have also assured their playoff hopes. The Panthers have clinched home field advantage and a bye week. The Arizona Cardinals lead in the west over their Seattle divisional rivals. The most likely choice for the other wildcard will be the Minnesota Vikings but the Falcons still have a small sliver of a chance if they win out and the Viking lose out. The Washington Redskins lead the NFC East but still have to face the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles will also have to face off against the New York Giants who also have a chance in the pitiful division.

The AFC is a bit more complicated. The Patriots have clinched and Bengals have a playoff berth assured. The Broncos look rough with a loss to the Steelers late in the game and the Chiefs are right behind them in the AFC West. The Houston Texans beat the Indianapolis Colts so they are more likely to get the AFC South. For the wildcard there is a three way tie between the Jets, the Steelers, and the Chiefs so these last two weeks will have a lot of excitement.

I hope I can catch a few games before the end of the season!
