With the end of the regular season of college football, it's time to catch up on the last two weeks of professional football that I missed.
Just to get it out of the way, the Falcons seem intent on their decline with a four game losing streak. They have almost dropped out of the playoff contention and unless something drastic happens like a new quarterback.
The Bengals lost another primetime game right at the end against the NFC West leading Arizona Cardinals but bounced back to defeat the Rams in week 12. They've got several divisional games and a tough one against the Broncos before the season is over.
The Denver Broncos managed to defeat the Patriots for New England's first loss of the season last Monday. Now the Carolina Panthers are the only undefeated team in the NFL.
There are still some competitions left. The AFC South will have to be fought over by the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans and they'll face off right before Xmas. Five teams are tied at a six and five record in the AFC including the two mentioned and the Chiefs, Jets, and Steelers.
The NFC East looks rough with the Giants and Redskins at the top. I predict the Giants but I could definitely be wrong. The Seahawks and Packers fight for the wild card currently, which seems normal. The Vikings are a surprise atop NFC North but they've got their running back and they may be the toughest competition for the Panthers.
Should be a cool rest of the season!
