A nice hoppy beer to eat leftover turkey and gain some warmth during the cold holiday months. There are a nice mix of flavors; bread, ginger, and a fruity blend. The hops control the taste however and it has a strong bitter taste that isn't too strong. The taste hits the tongue immediately upon impact.
I have enjoyed several Sierra Nevada flavors but this one is one of my favorite. I actually thought of going out to buy another six-pack before this review but I've got to keep expanding my tastes. One of the interesting things I could do is pick this back up next holiday season and see how much I still enjoy it.
If you like hoppy, this one is for you. It is not too filling and goes well with food. I would like to try it in a draft but it wasn't bad out of the bottle. Three might put a moderate drinker over the edge but the taste gets better as it goes along. Sierra Nevada has a winner with this one!
